My Portfolio
This is a representative sample of the kind of gourds I enjoy creating. All gourds are unique and I enjoy what mother nature gives me to start with. You will see that I strive to create a one-of-a-kind art piece that you can treasure forever. I like to work with all sizes and types of gourds.

"Morrocan Water Jar"

Leather dyed and pine coiled with beading. The knots in the pine coiling are my take on an old tradition. Blue Ribbon Winner

"Deer Print"

Leather dyed and rimmed with leather. The agate stone is a nice compliment to the leather. Blue Ribbon Winner

Egg gourds, about the size of a chicken egg, are wood burned and paitned with copper patina paint. Highlighted portions of the gourd are decorated with glass micro beads.

"Ocean Blue"

Kettle gourd that was dyed with cobalt blue wood tint. Painted with patina paint and rimmed with dwarf palm fronds.
